PHOTO GUIDELINES

pop art portrait

The quality of the artwork you'll receive is dependent on the quality of the photos you send in. We do our best to work our magic on photos we process - retouching, enhancing colour, brightness and contrast, cropping and repositioning etc, but on occasion we may need to ask for new ones to be sent in.

For Pop Art Portraits:

1. Make sure the photo is taken in good lighting (outdoor daylight is best)

2. For the best results make sure your camera settings are set to the highest quality possible.

3. Photos are best taken at eye-level. Preferably with your subject facing slightly to one side.

4. Try to get as close up as possible while keeping the whole head and shoulders in frame, but try not to crop any features.

5. Don't worry too much about the composition of your photo we will crop and position the picture to ensure the best results.

6. We'll remove the background in photoshop (unless otherwise instructed), but it makes our life much easier if you use a plain background such as a light wall.

We'll check your photo as soon as it's sent in, we'll let you know very quickly if there appear to be any issues. If we do need a new photo from you, this may lengthen your delivery time by a few days.

All examples on our website were produced using high quality photos.
